The Symptoms, Causes, and Treatments of the Popular Anxiety

Phobias have been a common area of the world since the beginning of time. As most people know, a phobia can be " a special form of dread which… can not be explained or perhaps reasoned away [and] can be beyond non-reflex control” (Marks 3). You will find hundreds after thousands of phobic disorders in the world. Nevertheless , one of the most common phobias is called claustrophobia. Since several know and Ronald Doctor explains, " Claustrophobia is a fear of shut places, such as closets, subways, tunnels, telephone booths, lifts, small rooms, crowds, or perhaps other encased or restricted spaces” (104). Claustrophobia offers known symptoms, causes, and treatments.

Claustrophobia has noted symptoms. Specialists have identified some prevalent and some specific symptoms that go along with claustrophobia and its victims: If a person suffering from claustrophobia suddenly detects themselves within an enclosed space, they may offer an anxiety attack. Symptoms can include: Sweating, accelerated heartrate, hyperventilation… shaking, light-headedness, nausea, fainting, [and] fear of genuine harm or perhaps illness (Better Health). The common symptoms of claustrophobia are the same symptoms that one can have in the event of a great anxiety attack. However, there are also certain symptoms that go along with more robust claustrophobics. For example , if a claustrophobic person went into a area that is little or a little too congested, he or she might recognize their exits and stand near them just in case an escape will be needed. The claustrophobic may well avoid times of the day the moment there is a large amount of traffic in order that he or she does not get surrounded by all the vehicles. If he or she adopts a building that has the choice of stairs and an escalator, he or she would avoid the tiny space in the elevator, regardless of how many stairways he or she will have to go up.
